Java Edition

Add mc.boal.tech in Multiplayer. The default port is 25565.

Bedrock Edition

Add mc.boal.tech with port 19132. Sign in with your normal Microsoft/Xbox account; a Java account is not required.

ATM10 8.1

Install the pinned ATM10 client and BoalHaus compatibility package for the shared lobby and modded world.

What the configurator changes

It installs BoalHaus Client Compatibility 0.5.4 and Be Quiet Negotiator 1.0.4 only. Compatibility 0.5.4 contains missing-registry creative-tab failures, guards registry-dependent client interactions including mining effects, and switches block-state mappings when Velocity transfers the player between vanilla and NeoForge backends. Downloads are SHA-512 verified, prior versions are backed up, and your worlds, settings, resource packs, and other mods are left alone.

Kid

The default player rank. Includes portals, homes, survival claims, and one creative plot.

Kid+

A trusted young-player rank with additional home access, plot merging, and up to five creative plots.

Teen

An established community rank with higher priority in the shared permission hierarchy.

Parent

A family-support role with elevated community and plot-management access.

Admin

Network administration, moderation, world management, and service configuration.

Ranks follow players across the Paper network and the ATM10 backend. ATM10 land is protected with FTB Chunks and team-based claim permissions.

Modded client guide

Set Up ATM10

BoalHaus currently uses All the Mods 10 version 8.1 for Minecraft 1.21.1. Select that exact pack version rather than the newest release.

    Install Prism Launcher

    Download the current stable release for Windows, macOS, or Linux. Open Prism and sign in with the Microsoft account that owns Minecraft: Java Edition.

    Use Java 21

    In Settings > Java, enable Autodetect Java version and Auto-download Mojang Java. Prism should select a 64-bit Java 21 runtime. Use the Java test button before continuing.

    If automatic download is unavailable, install 64-bit OpenJDK 21, restart Prism, and choose it with Auto-Detect.

    Install ATM10 8.1

    Select Add Instance > CurseForge, search for All the Mods 10 - ATM10, and choose version 8.1. Confirm that the instance reports Minecraft 1.21.1 and NeoForge.

    Allocate Memory

    Open the ATM10 instance settings, enable its memory override, and start with 8192 MiB maximum memory. Leave enough memory for your operating system.

    Install BoalHaus Compatibility

    Run the configurator after ATM10 8.1 has launched successfully once. It verifies downloads, backs up replaced files, and installs the lobby compatibility mods.

    Open Terminal, paste this command, and press Return.

    Join the Network

    Launch ATM10 and add mc.boal.tech. You will enter the shared lobby; use a portal or run /server atm10.

Before asking for helpConfirm the instance says ATM10 8.1, Java reports version 21, the configurator completed without an error, and the server address is mc.boal.tech with no custom port.
